truth by Kalikala SmithWho are we to say
that we know where the wind blows
and who are we to say
that we know where it hides.
truth is alive
and we've buried it
like there's nothing left to discover.
truth is alive
and we've pretended
it is ours for the taking.
we have no power
over wind and seas
only god can bring them to their knees.
truth is alive. 11/13/2003 Posted on 01/29/2004 Copyright © 2025 Kalikala Smith

| Posted by Richard Trotter on 01/29/04 at 12:57 PM soulful and reflective.. I like how you express the idea of the truth being a power in itself and a force beyond control. well done. |
