Posted by Ashok Sharda on 01/21/04 at 01:51 PM Its sad but I can see hopes despite the hopelessness..'I still search for the sun today As I look for you'. The association of the love with the happiness is so distinct here. |
Posted by David R Spellman on 01/22/04 at 02:14 PM Ah the wonderings of the heart over past events, sometimes so sad... beautifully expressed here my dear. |
Posted by Adrian Calhoun on 01/22/04 at 05:44 PM Gorgeous imagery. A 'true' poem you have crafted here. I enjoyed reading this very much. So much sound, color, and emotion, this poem is alive. |

Posted by Maureen Glaude on 01/23/04 at 03:54 PM the irony of the mocking bird not wasted on me, that is a very strong closing, Kate. Searching toward the past dream is painful, but above the mocking bird and the dream, is a glorious sky with hope for tomorrow, you just have to be patient and see it, when you turn your eyes the right way. wonderful work |
Posted by Anne Engelen on 01/23/04 at 07:22 PM although a little sad...sounds like good memories are lingering. It's good to look back sometimes as we move on :) |
