Ode to the Snack Pack

by Rula Shin

Sweet Love…

Luscious strawberry
Whipped light

pure air

He glides over to the fridge
And I know what he wants

A strawberry snack pack

“I bought four packs yesterday honey!”

Strawberry fluff
Dripping down

My heart smiles

A fragrance of
Strawberry lingers

My sweet love…

Author's Note: My husband loves his strawberry Snack Packs...I'm in love

Sounds delish, may have to raid your fridge!

Its the sweet association. And this will survive. Because associations can never die. Not even in the dreams. A sweet association with a sweet person. Beautiful.

i'm sensing a wonderfully light undertone here. This can be properly described by the word "yummy" :)

Tasty poem, Rula. Whether it's a snack or love, strawberries top it off like no other. Those little gems are even heart shaped. Gotta love it! Pe4ce...

I like how you relate food and romantic love, because they're a great combination! :)
