He Man

by Richard Trotter

In a world where the lonely
cower in jet black despair
He-man we need your courage
and your powers so rare.

Give us all the excitement
of your glittering crusade
when days are cold and stale
adventures make loneliness fade

He-man high in Grayskull's tower
With your sword make rainbows
When you fight back Skeletor's gang
Show us how to beat our foes.

He-man can you save us
from fast approaching hell?
He-man I know you are
a trademark of Mattel.

Man I loved He-Man...ah the good ole' days and Skeletor's evil ways :-) Great poem full of nostalgia (for me) as said above. Fun read!

Well, the entire civilization has been waiting for a He-man to arrive, from ancient times. Incidently they do arrive but only on celluloids. The only way out is to kill the enemy, occupying our insides. haha. Well, an enjoyable read. Thanks.

Who sold He Man his steroids? Funny little piece with a sharp edge, Richard. I like this one very much.
