Pulp Nature by Rula Shinfound foulest of mud
feeding on Earth,
saw Hope
doused in blood
still raw with birth
along her lit paths
whirling with dust,
men
rape to reap cash,
EarthÂ’s heaving bust
drank darkest of mud
along her lit paths,
Hope,
Love's heaving bust,
poised for a laugh
face deep down in crust,
Rape plunders fair Earth,
NO
man before dust
stays raw after birth

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 01/19/04 at 02:22 PM 'NO man before dust stays raw after birth', well, this is the reason that this earth, despite the 'lit paths', isn't a good place to dwell upon. Those 'feeding on earth'..'rape to reap cash', obviously disrupting the ever growing ray of creation. This speaks of the sensitivity of the poet. |
