Lost In Your Love

by J. P. Davies

Just to be loved by you,
is enough to one such as me.
To be touched with such feeling,
the world stops as my heart flys.
I just left your house
an hour and twenty minutes ago.
And I miss you already.

Just lying in your arms,
the silences are comfortable.
We don't need to say anything.
Just to bask in the warmth
and the glow that our love creates
around us.

Today, of all days I wished
upon all hope they would forget
that I was there.
Just let me sleep safe, warm,
beside the girl that I love.

Your skin glows in the soft lamp-light
as I run my hands over your body.
I can't keep them to myself, do you mind?
You are so smart and insightful that it amazes
me sometimes and the age difference seems
non-existant and far-fetched.

I love you, with my heart and my soul.
I am devoted to you for as long as is possible.
I wish I could take you everywhere with me.
So I could always have the deepest brown eyes
to gaze into.
The eyes that call me back,
and turn me into the man for you.
I'll dream of your smile, tonight.

Author's Note: I love her more than I ever possibly imagined. And that makes me so happy that I can't believe it...
