Realistical Music Making by Matt ForgetAs I lay here in my bed
What is this melody I see?
Staring toward me
Like music notes on sheet music
Watching my eyes follow each rhythmic beat
Play out loud
The tones you ring
The tunes you often sing
As closer as you come to me
The tempo rising fast
Crescendo to metso-forte
As the melody moves on
The space between us gone
For rising to high staccato notes
Simple yet so satisfying
Forte we rise
Sweat pours off my head
Faces turning red
As the duo performance of the evening
Coming to a finale
Fortissimo! Where there!
The crash, the boom
Filled the room
Silence as the end was there Our concert of the evening was a success01/18/2004 Posted on 01/18/2004 Copyright © 2024 Matt Forget
