Dumbfounded Masterpiece

by Matt Forget

Can’t wait for tomorrow

When the sun comes up again

Can’t the sun go down in the morning

Instead of the moon rising in the east

Why can’t women have beards

Unlike those in the circus

Though everyone belongs in a circus

Crazier than the pigs and chickens of the world

But why not open a savings account

With the penny found on the street

Wouldn’t that be the best way

To make a fortune now-a-days?

Love one another

But never trust each other

And always know

You friend is the worst enemy

Don’t freeze in the cold

But melt in the snow

Where the snow builds the men

That create our new foreign lands

Look up at the East my friends

And watch the sun set

Because my world is something

Unlike the boring of yours
