to me~ wherever i am

by Kimberly Bare

what foolishness am i
to believe that i could fly
and leave my fears behind me as i
climb

i used to live for interaction
the give and take was satisfaction
now i seek for solitude against the
tide

an ever growing desolation
creates a fascination
and my fears fall freely from a darkened
sky

i know not my own delusions
struck with sheer confusion
now i shy from the fierceness of my
mind

Lack of positive impressions does cause a state when one starts feeling lonely in the crowd. Any quality impression will bring the necessary change in the mood.

The journey to find oneself may be the most treacherous and challenging of all.
