zenith: nova

by Bethany Lee

zenith: nova
who will you be?

an introspective girl,
blonde pigtails
hopscotch drawn in chalk
on the newly-paved sidewalk
(you snuck your handprint in
when the contruction workers weren't watching)

my ocean-eyes,
his roman-god(dess) nose.

you will go where i
will never go.
you will know all
that i know,
for i will teach you
of who i am,
and from there
you may remember who
you choose to be...

i've seen pictures of beautiful nova on the MMB -- a succulent soul indeed!
