Navy Pier by Amanda J CobbWhiling away productive hours,
the precious dollars,
in the nooks of Navy Pier.
First full day in the big city,
feet find no pity
as they wander Navy Pier.
Knowing it wasn't a day well-spent,
still somehow content
as I wait in Navy Pier.
Waiting to feel the connection,
waiting to see him,
and I smile in Navy Pier. 01/02/2004 Author's Note: For Shawn. Thanks for a great time in Chicago.
On another note, this is a weird experimentation in rhyme and meter.
