too long by Richard TrotterDays are too long without you
when sudden addiction succeeds
in every featureless hour,
a sudden jerk, restless and tangled.
Every sensation stirs the scene
of you that nestles in me
cats whiskers against my hand
like a memory of your passing touch.
Today the world is ageless
I want you or dreamtimes answer
to a naive desperate network
that your radiance defines

when sudden addiction succeeds
in every featureless hour
