New Year's Resolution by Matt ForgetTell me the secrets
That I want to hear
That bleed from your mouth
To the others you encounter
Why cant you be honest
Tell me how you feel
Ill leave the restlessness be
Instead of my withering soul
Becoming to the day
I sit and ponder
Why you remain silent
Crickets louder than your words
Youre a communication of silence
A lasting epiphany of ideas
That only your friends with-hold
To kill my deepest sensations
And tonight this New Years night
Youve murdered everything weve had
Slaughtered all creations
Dead like the flowers of summer
A new year has come
And now the resolution
To always be grateful
That Im invisible from you 01/01/2004 Author's Note: Sometimes you just want to be invisible...my resolution is to become invisible...
