Dynasty of the Forgotten Son

by Matt Forget

Tell me I’m dreaming

Though I never thought I’d see the day

Where your thought of a panoramic attitude

Was cropped to but a portion of care

Drowned by a pool of evil

A morning so beautiful as this

Though rain pours down on me

Worse than the tides of the oceans

Greater than the pull of the many moons

Burying me to my grave below

Hurt me as you did

As this day was due to be brighter

As all of family days should be

But hurt me no more

For your wretched past due family card

Has expired from my library

Never to be renewed again

Author's Note: To a father so great he pushed his son aside for xmas....Dad you have never hurt me so much and I could never forgive you again. Enjoy your new "family", because you obviously never truely loved your others.
