Time stands still for a moment
Hushed and quiet, an inhalation
Evening's last breath is spent
Day's new dawning invocation
Alternating colored bands
Young in their newfound growing
Stretching night out with their hands
Daunting task, night's yoke off throwing
Amazing light grows ever brighter
Wonderous daily this performance
Night is banished as a blighter
Impresssed together beams do dance
Now as one o'er head they fly
Gracing shine across the sky
