I lost you

by Richard Trotter

I lost you from birth,
traversing the oceans
from sight and fractured sound
through shuttered eyes
and aching limb sighs-
lust like apocalypse

I lost you from waking,
walking and breathing
empty image halls
flesh through the glas.
I lost you from
weary legion nights
beneath the stars,
oblivious lights,
Queen of the chromosphere
I lost you.

Oh what this brings to mind, but not knowing if it is what was running through your mind when you wrote this piece. I'd love to know.
