Don't Care For This Game No More (haiku string)

by Anne Engelen

Left, barely alive

Bleeding invisible tears

Behind my smile

A perfect angel

In someone else’s heaven

Lost in my own hell

God, when will you stop?

I don’t want to play no more

Hide-and-seek , I’m through

Am I too human

To see the wonder of You?

Let us both grow up

Love the genius irony in the second stanza... perfect. If each stanza is a haiku, then could they be called stanzakus? Great verse.

This is amazing; I'm full of awe. "a perfect angel in someone else's heaven" "bleeding invisible tears" Absolutely incredible.

Well, this expresses what is, impregnant with what should be. I read hopes. But I can also see past playing its game, causing doubts.
