It’s been a long time… I know things didn’t work out like we planned.. I know.
I just wanted to apologize to you for caring so much… It crushed me when you left.
But I always wanted to know what was going to be in that letter you never sent but said you had…
I always wanted to know…just how you were… but I guess we all want info about her…
I can’t listen to wish you were here without hearing your goofy laugh in the back of my mind..
I can’t shuffle to the bottom of my picture pile since your negatives still linger somewhere deep…

But what I can do is this.. Write this last note to you.. as I forget you to the past..I can go on with my life like normal people do.. and forget that I loved once.. briefly.. you. I can dream back to times we had and laughed.. I can live. But I can remember.. and I always will.. you’re smile…Your laugh… You.

I wish you well in your life, Sam…you had my heart from day one..
and even branded me with a half moon…. I miss you.
