I just wanted to state for the record, that you were wrong

You lied to me.. straight faced and I believed you.. because I was stupid Because I didnt see the things in you that everyone else did.. because I looked pastYour past and saw a future but that wasnt good enough for you that wasnt the time of your life.. that was a moment.

And that moments gone.

Im sorry.. I forgot who I was dealing with

I forgot that history.. I forgot that lie I told myself..

I forgot you at least the you I loved

I forgot my dreams.. all wrapped around you

I forgot myself.. when I felt loved by you.

I felt alone.. true.. but I had a memory of before you to guide me..
A memory that people didnt lie to the ones they loved
