Hieroglyph Telling (haiku) by Gabrielle L GervaisThe grip of your hands
tell of old stones and long rolls.
Fall down unheld hills. 12/16/2003 Author's Note: My first haiku ever- inspired by those of David Spellman!

Posted by Maureen Glaude on 12/16/03 at 12:24 PM I really like this. I can feel the falling, see the scene. I'd just want an "s" on tell, since grip is the subject of that verb, and I'm not sure if you want fall or falls (if it's the same subject, falls) beautiful |
Posted by Ashok Sharda on 12/18/03 at 02:16 AM You have painted a scene rather with your words. Distinct and alive. Beautiful creative minimal. |
Posted by David R Spellman on 12/18/03 at 02:30 AM Hieroglyphs and petroglyphs tell so many tales... as does this fine piece. I'm honored by the mention of inspiration!!! Keep on writing... [;0)~ |
