Winter Wonderland

by Michelle Calhoun

Snow slowly falls down
It graces the frozen ground
Winter Wonderland

12/11/2003

Author's Note: Please be gentle, this is my first haiku. Hope I don't disappoint. It was actually much harder than you would think a 3 line poem would be. I woke up with this in my head on a beautiful snowy winter day. I played with it until it became this haiku. It has yet to stop, with another 10 inches predicted before morning. I am glad that I can stay in all weekend. :P

I love the gentle beauty expressed here both in the haiku and the note. It made me smile... Thank You for preserving that scene...

Very good Haiku. Setting the picture exactly as it looks outside this morning. Now all we need is hot cocoa and the picture is perfect : )

The approach is positive. The scene alive.
