I'm dying and you don't even care.
You tell me that you've been there,
but you don't really understand
that it's just me.

You aren't in my shoes,
and I know I'm a little selfish
cause it's me and not you.
So the sky becomes a little darker each day,
and you don't think I'm really that sad.
The stars burn in the skies leading me
back to the beginning of my pain.

I'm sorry that I couldn't be the
man that you wanted me to be.
So I'll sit here till the end
trying to figure out what it's
going to be.
