Pea(broken)ce by Jersey D GibsonNothing is the same now,
you've said those deadly words.
It's like someone casted a spell,
Nothing is going well anymore.
You've broken the peace between us
You've broken the peace between us
Everything was so calm,
but now I've gone and screwed it up.
Do you have to raise that issue again?
I haven't done it in such a long time.
I've broken the peace between us
I've broken the peace between us
Nothing seems right anymore,
everything is more gas on the fire.
Sparks fly like a firefight,
can we do more to make it worse?
We've broken the peace between us
We've broken the peace between us
There's no such thing as a
No Man's Land between a man and a woman.
Things were going right for a while,
like walking on eggshells.
Is this anyway for us to live,
watching every word we say?
Just one word, and we'll go to war
Just one word, and we'll go to war
Strained smiles in every picture,
it's the same in real life.
The marriage bed is an ice box,
neither of us willing to take the blaim.
Draw the line, I'll draw my gun
Draw the line, you'll draw your gun
Our words to each other are venomous,
and we went and lost the antidote.
How much longer can the bond last,
when we slash it with all our might?
Sharpen the axe, let the hammer fall
Sharpen the axe, let the hammer fall
There's no such thing as a
cease-fire between a man and a woman. 12/09/2003
