04. Rhapsody by Philippa JaneI.
I wait, her return
near. Soon, we'll find peace beneath
glow-in-the-dark stars.
II.
At fourteen, Id say
sorry for my scrawled words; at
eighteen, for their flight.
III.
Strangers for four months
and we still grow - up, apart.
(But our moon? Unchanged.) 12/08/2003 Posted on 12/09/2003 Copyright © 2024 Philippa Jane

In regards to "glow in the dark stars" it appears to speak of, how we construct nature a lot of the time...that the stars might as well not exist because we can only "know" them through interpreting eyes. I could continue...but perhaps I will save the "essay" for later. |
