Christmas Wordplay by Max BouilletA bright Christmas Day,
everyone's fed gingerbread houses
in jolly kinship.
Laughing merry noels offer praise!
Quietly, reindeers soar to unknown
valleys writing XOXOs (yuletide zealots
among beautiful clouds.)
Dutiful elves freely give hopeful
innocent joy knowing laughter mends
nicely. Often prayers quit requesting &
start thanking! (Uplifted voices with Xmas yearly zeal.)12/07/2003 Author's Note: Holiday wordplay!

Posted by Michele Schottelkorb on 12/07/03 at 07:58 AM a double abecedarian with a special message within your text... you're brilliant man!... great message, excellent delivery... blessings :) |
Posted by Ashok Sharda on 12/09/03 at 05:01 PM You summed it up in your note-'Holiday wordplay'. But I think it goes beyond mere wordplay. I think you did start playing with the words. But in the end words did play with you and despite the boundaries of the form, the orderly assembled words derived a meaning. Meaningful wordplay is what it is and your modesty stops you from saying this. But its me who is saying this. haha |
Posted by Mara Meade on 12/09/03 at 07:45 PM How do you do it? Max, you da man. This is not only clever but has such a good mesage. |
