A bright Christmas Day,
everyone's fed gingerbread houses
in jolly kinship.
Laughing merry noels offer praise!
Quietly, reindeers soar to unknown
valleys writing XOXOs (yuletide zealots
among beautiful clouds.)
Dutiful elves freely give hopeful
innocent joy knowing laughter mends
nicely. Often prayers quit requesting &
start thanking! (Uplifted voiceswith Xmas yearly zeal.)
Author's Note: Holiday wordplay!

You summed it up in your note-'Holiday wordplay'. But I think it goes beyond mere wordplay. I think you did start playing with the words. But in the end words did play with you and despite the boundaries of the form, the orderly assembled words derived a meaning. Meaningful wordplay is what it is and your modesty stops you from saying this. But its me who is saying this. haha
