I am a desperate body

by Vikki Owens

I am a twilight, moonsoaked,
trembled,
I am a desperate body, hands outstreached
like whitefish
gasping in dry air, for you...
for a shudder and a coalesce,
I am in need of you, a slow binary rotation
a startwin, you, my shining satellite...
I move like a cool river, like a silent
silver wisp, minnowquick,
delicate and ready for you...
