Fog on the Mirror

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

The hot shower

Leaves fog along

The mirror

I wipe my hand

Across the glass

Smearing the condensation

Then I see my face

Peering back

Wet hair dripping water

Like my eyes

I don’t like

What I see

So

I use my

Breath to fog up

The mirror

Once again

Fogging the glass to cover up what you don't want to see. Intriguing images that show an honest introspection. I hope one day you will be able to clear the condensation and smile.
