Along the Way by Bruce W Niedt
On that road we walk,
sometimes dusty and gravelled,
other times, slogged with mud,
we come to crossroads now and then
some, cowpaths with gates swung open,
some, paved and skunk-striped highways.
Others cross our path here and there,
acquaintenances intersecting our lives.
Friends are the ones
who ask if they can walk with us a while. 11/27/2003 Posted on 11/27/2003 Copyright © 2024 Bruce W Niedt
