Translation by Teri T LahmonThe articulate ability for which I am so ardently praised
Abandons me when I am near you
Careful thoughts eloquently outlined crumble
In your presence, words die on my tongue
and I am left to pray they can translate themselves into kisses
That my "I love You's" can stroke themselves across
Your arms through my fingertips
That my thighs sigh my devotion as they slide around your waist
and you feel in those palms which cup my breast my beating heart.
Do you see the hunger in my eyes?
Hear the promise in my sigh?
That I am yours...
Yours forever
If only you will take me. 11/21/2003 Author's Note: Okay so it's a overly sentimental.
