Into the Storm

by Kimberly Bare

Into the storm we venture
into the rain we walk
into the night I'll take you
there is no need to talk

for words could not
do justice
to the way we feel just now
and though the paths not lighted
we will find our way
somehow
through the twisted
and the winding roads
together
hand in hand
in our search for the promised land

Though the hardships we encounter
will be sure to
slow us down
In your time of need
you know
I'll always be around
if your steps do falter
I will catch you when you fall

and in the end we'll realize
we made it through
it all

walking hand in hand
in our search for the promised land

yeah~darlin'
hand in hand
This is our promised land

This flows very well. I spoke it aloud and it rolled off the tongue just like a song. Great images and a wonderful read.
