Scars

by Charles J Hannan

Healing morning breeze
Cool to the lungs
Sharp as an eagle's eye
Striking bluntly
Between the folds of fog
Pointing the way East
And driving me to the West
Leaving the scars behind me
And just drifting
Toward the new frontier

hmmm...this can go both ways huh? It can be about a happy hopeful feeling, or one of accepting grief and choosing to leave that behind and go on to the next level. It gives me a sad feeling though. Nevertheless, great read dear Charles.
