it rained today

this first rain rescues us.

this first sprinkling of snow
on burned mountain tops.

the clouds in the sky
carry a promise of fall.

finally.

and the sky was blue again today.

We just had our first rain yesterday, we were praying it would reach down there to help the firefighters. It sure has been terrible for alot of people. Good poem Mar......Charlie

I catch the opitimistic hope of better days ahead for CA. You succinctly and aptly describe the conditions. A Fall not to be forgotten in CA for a good generation or two!
