The Most 'Pathetic' Person I Know by Leah LaibenShe wrote,
"I really miss you today
and it looks like winter outside."
It struck a chord.
I'd remember those words until the day I died.
She is a poetic goddess;
a master of her art,
and I ache to read her work,
(gettting to know her better with every syllable)
but those were the most beautiful
words I'd ever read,
and they were all mine;
she wrote them just for me.
I wanted to say to her,
"I miss you too,
I miss you more than anything in the world."
And she would believe me when I added,
"Because I miss you,
it is winter inside as well,
not just today,
but everday."
