Stole Daddy's Rollercoaster

by J. P. Davies

Plummet down,
swing around,
you make me fathom
that I will never
be happy with anyone
but you...
or her...
or her...
just can't setlle
or make up my
wish-washy mind
so I jerk you around
up/down
leftyrightedness
woohoo shes on
the rollercoaster
she never bought a ticket for
she cruises 'round hairpins
and spins through loops
rises high then plummets low
I am the driver in control
of this insanity
(White-knuckled grip)
here I go again
chasing here
there
oh my
there goes
another one
"Don't you hate being popular?"
Yep, I'd love me too..(if I didn't know me)
Am I mysterious?
Or a discernable open book?
Or just a combination of the two?
All I know is I want to be...
FANTASTIC
WONDERFUL
STUPENDOUS
BRILLIANT
or
just a little
maybe
just
maybe
