shrinkingviolence (aka sickweakmutilated w/ gabe)
by Laura Doom
Do I smell broken flesh?
I know I heard it at the very least.
Did someone miss me that much?
Guess you're not as healthy as you thought.
i feel - infected - diseased
so sweet, so thick, can't breathe
my skin screaming tension - unbearable
just a split second, a spurt and...release
What was it you said to me -
Weeks and weeks ago?
Some silly teenage nonsense.
I can't quite remember it.
Ah! "I don't need you anymore, I'm in love."
So, what happened to this little savior?
she told me how you operate
"She'll take control of your body, your soul"
told me just what to say
how to flush you out, free myself
she - flashed one last smile...saved my life
But where is she now?
Well out the door,
far away from the grasp,
Of a whore like you.
"...And where is she now?"
watching us, whispering
through salubrious lips
"She is coming for us"
No one loves a crippled mindset.
Someone who refuses to be saved completely.
That's what is was, wasn't it?
You pushed her back,
when you got too much.
You're lucky I live on the fight.
now we are one
in sickness and health
a sublime saturation
in salvation, i surrender
and together we rise
"Yes, we are ready for her"
I don't recall being invited.
Leave me out of your madness.
Unless I'm the one to orchestrate it.
"Ah - violins and triangles
the cacophony of the pit"
...feel decidedly sick
Bury yourself in monosyllabic mud spells.
I won't be the one to give you the worms.
I don't like the game if it's not my design.
so hot in here - and the smell...
life will be the death of me
"And I, the instrument you play"
The sounds of two hands slipping-
Away from each other has never-
Been so evident.
"Applause! The Zenith attained!"
so why don't i believe
this messianic exhibition?
I think it's time we said goodbye.
I guess I'm not as healthy as i thought
Author's Note: the progeny of a prosodic union with the delectable gabriel ricard, whose gift-rapping talents will completely envelop you - but then i guess you know this already...

The progeny of this union is sickfilthysex that infects a soul that craves corruption. The words bounce between two voices... two souls... that mesh around the reader's cortex and forms understanding (of sorts). Exquisite. :)
