hunger

by Kimberly Bare

laughter peels
like ripe pomegranites
with seeds
ringing in my ears

caresses
warm as
golden honey
dripping on my skin

kisses
soft as silken
chocolate
seeping into senses

i am filled with
your lingering sweetness
and my hunger is
satisfied
