i dreamed a dream

i dreamed a dream of you

i dreamed of us

i dreamed of you and me

i dreamed of experiencing the pleasures of love

i dreamed of it all happening with you

i still felt like i was miles away from you

until i rolled over

and there you were

this was the first time i dreamed of you

and found you lying next to me when i awoke

i kissed your cheek

you kissed my lips

i know this is where i belong

safe, protected

loved, wanted

by you

i never want to leave

especially when my dreams have become my reality
