watching your journey

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

I get the feeling that you lost yourself,

Always living your life for your husband,

And then your children,

And then your husband again.

So nice to see you run free through the forest,

Running and giggling like a school girl

Pouring your heart onto the page

Expressing the tangle thoughts in your head.

You are such a cheeky thing,

Just starting to live for yourself,

Embarking on a journey of self discovery,

Living true to your heart.

How beautiful! I think this poem suits my hopefulness as of late. I have gone through so many changes within the last few years. And I'm a completely a new found creature now. Plus I'm trying out my freshly born wings as we speak.
