Triple Night Stand

by Beth K Hannah

Little train tracks of blood
Drip down my spine
I twist and turn in the mirror
To seek their beginning and end.
Such a heavenly scar will replace
These lust given wounds.
I dig for medicine and bandages,
And let my mind take me back...

...Carnal lust tore through the sheets
Silk brushed my thighs
Painting every inch of me into a broken dove.
As my breath grew quicker,
You serenaded me with my name,
And tasted my skin.
I felt as if the whole world was crashing down
In glorious waves of amber and night...

The next morning I found myself awakening
From a slumber never experienced.
Pushing aside all dignity,
I turned to my partner to hear of the past eve.
Dark hair spread over the red silk
Steady breathing told me dreams were still being made.
I reached for his hand and held it,
Watching the sunlight play hide and seek
Through our fingers.
My skin felt alive
My blood raw
And my body satisfied.

Author's Note: In an issue of Rolling Stones, Britney Spears said that the reason she was singing and writing about sex was because she wasn't having any.

This is one of the best things I've ever read. So dirty and beautiful and amazing all at once. How is Miss Britney by the way?

Exquisite capture of passionate images and emotions, catering to the raw and carnal things that are 'needed' sometimes. There's a wonderful flow to it all.
