They say a man will do anything for love.
Dishonor his clan, Holding it far and above.
A man will murder loot and burn.
Just for his affection's turn.
He'll search and destroy the world whole.
Only to fill the void lingering in his soul
He will lie cheat and kill
just for that internal thrill.
Love is just a word, nothing more.
One can find his love in the arms of a whore.
In love, pain is a distant memory gone
looking back asks what have I done?
A pain internal that one tries to forget
but mistakes once made, will never regret.
Love in truth is just a simple word
in this we all believe in being lead by the herd.
For those who have felt the truth in basking love
know the roller coaster of emotions that hang above.
For if you have someone with your life you share
hold it close and to no one else, do you ever compare.
