Confession by Aaron HowardA mother who did coke.
A family that was a joke.
A pain that still lingers on.
Another long walking, on running, crispy dawn.
A bus ride to get away from my pain
and then drive me back to the insane.
Mom with her Heineken in the drink holder
and my dad with his ever expanding folder.
A blue note to think back to a past so lost
since back then we didn't really know the cost.
I didn't know what I had always done wrong
but then again, I came to write this song.
I might go to hell for confessing all my sins
but only after the confession, is when the healing begins...
