Clean slate

by Aaron Howard

Fall down and pick yourself up
if you drop it, Just refill the cup
A broken heart mends with soft hand
since it's only love we seem to understand
We fumble in the dark with passion
and do it in any preferable fashion
Dropping al the Subtle decisions
and dealing with all the mental incisions
Moan about all you hope to be
and not just another physical fantasy
Who am I to judge this fate
I just try to eat whatÂ’s on my plate
Beggars cant be choosers I always say
and Dave talks about wasting the day
Who am I to change m railed fate
since I always try to clean my plate?
and you can call me anything, just not late
for we all like to have a new clean slate...
