Bow down (For your sins)

Bow down and confess your sins
and only then can healing begins.
Sell your soul to your favorite denomination
because it's the only place for your false salvation.
We want you to come in and aid in our cause
since we too have and obey our laws.
We believe in a book we read from
and if you can't read we think your dumb.
We pass a tray so you better put out
cuz that's how you gain Gods favor and clout.
You're supposed to spend your loot on supreme beings
so it will cover for all those insider frayed dealings.
Maybe you can burn off a couple years of purgatory
since you spent your youth in a religious reformatory.
Maybe God is up there laughing at all our stupidity
and looking on us with itÂ’s version of great humility.
Only we sit and squabble over the smallest shit
like over who, what and where we can get.
We're all overstuffed greedy little weasels
and we all love the attention of the peoples.
We all like to have the upper hand
even when we can't really understand.
So Sell your soul to the world and us
so make sure to get on the right bus.
Take it down the path of righteousness and inner peace
because in life and love you only have a short term lease.
