Untitled Fall of You

by Deanna M Gritsonis

If I could just think of something else
Walking in the rain
The drops asked for
I walked through the wet fall morning
Thinking of you
I see the color of you everywhere
The look is rustled in the leaves on the grass
Reds, browns, and yellows…
Dancing around me
Dancing in my mind
Paste them into the fall sunset
which warms me
The color of honey
slowly dripping down
Painting a canvas with infatuations
Of the auburn you
Whom fell from a tree into my hand
On one fall day
I fell into the colors of you
The smell of fall
The looks of you
filling my mind
The colors mixing around
seeing the change

Isn't it wierd how weather brings back experiences and feelings associated with them... I really liked this one.
