Flooding Of My Heart

after years of trying to get over you
does it all come back in one single moment
it's taken so long to put the past behind me
but then there i was laying in your arms
with you staring into my eyes
it's as if the dam i built,
since we parted ways broke
my feelings, my love for you
all came flooding back 10/11/2003 Author's Note: it broke. i thought i had given up on my feelings for him. but the just flowed right back.
edit......thanks to the brillance of Sarah Ann, who helped some words flow more fluidly together
