Lust

by Beth K Hannah

In the evening shades of just fallen leaves
The wind will caress and manifest
Every thing that I desire.

In an inch of intuition and trepidation,
Sand castles and star fire,
The moon will always yield to me
Its eternal love.

And I will be there
To let down my hair,
Open any closed doors,
Tear down walls of stone and lies,
and let you know every part of me
That is yet unexplored.

When the moment comes
That the earth stops spinning
The wind will always be in my hair,
Screaming for your eyes,
And remembering every shirt that you wore.

Author's Note: I wrote this for no one in particular, though as I transfer it from paper to computer, images flare into my mind, then cool to embers. If only lust and desire weren't so complicated.

The wind, the star fire, the moon...all such haunting beings. Also very alluring beings;) Well done my dear.
