Samhain Night

by Kimberly Bare

Brigid smiles silently
as watching him stand up

Bowing down so gracefully
Lugh knows his time is up

Cernunnos stands so regally
poised to take his place

And though a tear is in my eye
a smile lights my face

For even as we say goodbye
we say hello again

And while we lay one to the earth
yet we greet another friend

The wheel turns on relentlessly
the circle fades from sight

As I stand touched anew
on this blessed night

The ancient ways of the wise. Great verse. Bright Blessings.
