This Damning Hell

by Jersey D Gibson

I've built this wall so high,
so it's my heart I can deny.
I can lie to anyone else,
but I can't lie to myself.
Can't believe anything I say,
but I go and do it anyway.
I'm the reason why I fell,
noone to save me from this damning hell.

We all find ourselves in this place until we find Christ. You succinctly and pointedly define the sinner who has not yet realized God's grace in Christ.
