Jack and the Gourd

by Max Bouillet

Mister Jack was in love with a gourd,
till they cut him some eyes with a sword.
The first time he gawked,
he died from the shock
and his guts in a pie was soon poured!

Author's Note: A Jack poem for the holidays... and my first limerick. Oh, and by the way, I would like to thank Sallie for the suggestions.

Excellent limerick, and cheerfully seasonal even though I'm two months late! :)

LOL!! You got the knack I'd say. Jack at least got a taste of the pie from the gourd which caught his eye!
