oh faerie one (rough draft) by Michele Schottelkorb
come away
oh faerie child
into the meadow
so soft and wild
purple wings flutter
pink petals fall
leap through the forest
break down the wall
come away
oh faerie girl
prance and run
dance and whirl
golden toes twinkle
sapphire eyes gleam
skip through the pond
mend the seam
come away
oh faerie woman
listen and love
make time for fun
wisdom lines laugh
bless each day
remember your youth
make time for play 10/08/2003 Author's Note: this i will be working on this evening i think... (inspired by Yeats)

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 10/12/03 at 07:55 AM Well, I would suggest a redrafting. This needs a bit of tightening. The flow seems to hamper at places. I would register my comment on the redraft. |
Posted by Richard Paez on 10/13/03 at 01:48 AM this reminds me of the riddle of the sphinx. i like the development and the different phases of advice to go with each, each unique to time and place but each stressing freedom. looking forward to see where you go with this *s* |
